[Women's Basketball] League honors Mims
MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa --Junior guard Micha Mims filled up the stat sheet in all three games last week, and as a result, has been named the Midwest Collegiate Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for Jan. 31.
Mims averaged 22.7 points, four rebounds, 3.7 assists, and three steals against Grand View, Clarke, and William Penn. She also shot 51.1 percent from the floor, 44.4 percent from 3-point range, and 77.8 percent from the free throw line.
Mims recorded 23 points and three steals in a loss at Grand View to start the week, then added 23 points, five assists, and six steals in a victory over Clarke. She finished the week with 22 points, six boards, and five assists in Mount Mercy's win over league-leading William Penn.
