DES MOINES -- Three-point accuracy gave Iowa City West the lead.
Three-point denial preserved it.
Ally Disterhoft blocked Ashley Duthie's 3-point attempt at the buzzer as second-ranked West warded off No. 7 Iowa City High, 55-52, in a Class 4A quarterfinal at the girls' state basketball tournament Wednesday morning at Wells Fargo Arena.
