The North Linn boys’ basketball team beat Wapsie Valley, 72-51, Saturday night in a Class 1A substate final game to advance to the state tournament for a seventh consecutive year.
Jeff Hrubes has been an assistant coach at Cedar Rapids Kennedy for 25 seasons.
