Final IHSAA boys basketball rankings for Class 1A-2A, penultimate rankings for 3A-4A
Fort Dodge St. Edmond, Carroll Kuemper end atop Class 1A, 2A, respectively

The Iowa High School Athletic Association released its final boys basketball rankings for Class 1A and Class 2A on Monday. It also released the penultimate rankings for Class 3A and Class 4A.
Your final No. 1 team in Class 1A is Fort Dodge St. Edmond (19-2). The rest of the top five in order is Marcus MMCRU, Algona Garrigan, Burlington Notre Dame and Coon Rapids-Bayard.
Garrigan and Notre Dame flip-flopped spots from a week ago after Notre Dame lost last week to Keokuk, a Class 3A team.
Kuemper (19-3) is your final No. 1 team in 2A followed in order by Orange City Unity Christian, Iowa City Regina, Treynor and Grundy Center. That latter team lost for the first time this season last week, to Union Community, which remained at No. 8 in 2A.
Huxley Ballard (20-1) remained atop the poll in Class 3A. Behind the Bombers are Adel-DeSoto-Minburn, Storm Lake, Pella and Dubuque Wahlert in that order.
Cedar Rapids Xavier fell out of the 3A rankings. Solon remained eighth.
Cedar Falls (19-0) continued its stranglehold at the top of Class 4A. Waukee remained second, with West Des Moines Dowling and Waukee Northwest switching positions at third and fourth, after Dowling beat Northwest last week.
Cedar Rapids Prairie (15-4) moved up from ninth to seventh, which secures a top substate seed and home-court advantage in substate play, which begins next week.
