All-River Valley Conference boys’ basketball teams revealed
Cascade’s Jackson Lieurance and Iowa City Regina’s Will Litton are division Players of the Year

CEDAR RAPIDS - The River Valley Conference was good this boys’ basketball season. Really good.
The proof is in the pudding, as they say. Five RVC schools are in Class 2A district final games that will take place Tuesday night.
The conference has announced its all-league teams.
In the South Division, Iowa City Regina sophomore Will Litton is Player of the Year and Paul Rundquist of the Regals the Coach of the Year. In the North Division, Cascade senior Jackson Lieurance is Player of the Year and the Cougars’ Nate McMullen the Coach of the Year.
Tate Wallace, another sophomore from Regina, is also a unanimous pick by league coaches on the first team, joined by Mid-Prairie junior Bryce Henry, West Branch junior Jayden Harris and West Liberty senior Ryker Dengler with those honors.
Other first-teamers are Tipton senior Zach Butler and Wilton sophomore Oaklan Jirak.
In the North Division, Lieurance, Northeast Goose Lake’s Gavin Kramer, Monticello’s Conley Schauf and Dyersville Beckman’s Jack Wegmann are unanimous first-teamers. The rest of the first team consists of Cascade’s Nathan Schockemoehl and Mick Hoffman, Monticello’s Carson Lambert and Maquoketa’s Noah Ehlinger.
By the way, the five district finals teams in the RVC are Cascade, Mid-Prairie, Regina, Northeast Goose Lake and Monticello.
