Linn-Mar’s Tavian Soppe spent most of the season injured. He was cleared about a week ago and has made an impact in the Lions’ batting order. He had two hits and two RBIs in a sweep over Cedar Rapids Kennedy.
High school softball: IGHSAU has released regional pairings. The postseason begins July 7.
