David Sedaris to appear at reading and book signing at the Englert (again) in April 2019

Didn't get your favorite David Sedaris book autographed the last time he was in Eastern Iowa? Did you not snatch up a ticket for his appearance in Iowa City on April 21?

Well you're going to get another chance - next year.

In a media release from Iowa City's Englert Theatre it was announced that the popular essayist will be appearing again at the Englert Theatre on April 28, 2019 as part of the ‘Show & Tell' event featuring his work. This follows an upcoming appearance by Sedaris this year at the Englert on April 21 that has already sold out.

And if you feel a little down that you don't get Sedaris this year, according to the release he will have some new work coming out over the next year that you will be able enjoy first, as a forthcoming book of essays titled 'Calypso” is set to be published June 2018.

Tickets are $49.50 General Admission, (plus fees) and will go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 20 at 12:30 p.m., according to the release. Follow the link for more information on purchasing tickets.
