As part of this week's MusicIC festival, the Solera Quartet will perform a new arrangement of Pink Floyd's classic LP, 'The Dark Side of the Moon.” It captures the otherworldly mystique of the original, but with new instrumentation. The New York quartet will be joined by a drummer and vocalist; local writers reading original works on the album's themes of time, money and madness; and a projection of the filmed light improvisation 'Invisible Writing,” by 1960s light show pioneers Single Wing Turquoise Bird. Opening piece is Osvaldo Golijov's 'Tenebrae.”
