Best Bets: RAGBRAI concerts
Downtown Iowa City will be hopping Friday when RAGBRAI riders and crews 'book it” to town. The Jayhawks, an alt-country/country rock band from the Twin Cities, and Blitzen Trapper, an experimental country/folk/rock band from Portland, Ore., will headline four acts on the main stage at Clinton Street and Iowa Avenue from 4 to 10 p.m. Music begins at noon on the Side Stage at Washington and Linn streets. Other activities include yard games, movies indoors and out, and a beverage tent. Admission is free and open to the public, as well as RAGBRAI participants.
