Best Bet: Amana Colonies Cluster Dog Shows
See four-legged competitors strut their stuff during the annual Amana Colonies Cluster Dog Shows. The event features American Kennel Club all breed dog shows, obedience and rally trials and breed specialty categories. The public is welcome to cheer on their favorite breeds through the groups and into Best in Show competition. Speak with breeders, exhibitors and handlers and meet some of the best furry friends around. Vendors also will sell dog-related toys and treats for your canine companions.

8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday (8/30), Sunday (9/1), Monday (9/2), 8 a.m. to about 9 p.m. Saturday (8/31), Amana RV Park & Event Center, 3890 C St., Amana; $2 per car per day, $5 for the weekend
