Chris August

A pop/contemporary Christian artist, August is a three-time Dove Award winner, among his many accolades. After surviving a life-threatening accident, August has continued to write and perform songs with the goal of inspiring people to seek out their maker. Hits include 'Starry Night,' 'Restore' and 'The Maker.' This concert was postponed from Feb. 8.

Coffeehouse night at Lowe Park: David Zollo

Electric roots rocker and Eastern Iowa native David Zollo has made a name for himself as a solo artist, a sideman and an independent-label owner. His tunes run the gamut from the Rolling Stones honky tonk to country-rock and blues-rock to heartland rock.

Chorale Midwest: 'Four Seasons'

Selections range from Eugene Butler's 'Pavane for Spring' to John Rutter's 'Blow, Blow Thou Winter Wind,' as well as Gabrielli, Weelkes and spirituals arranger Moses Hogan. In addition to the full ensemble, the concert also will include performances by the chorale's other ensembles, including its Chamber Singers, Pro Musical Women's Ensemble and Vocal Jazz Ensemble.

Elizabeth Moen with the Weepies

Elizabeth Moen, a recent graduate from the University of Iowa, taught herself how to play guitar as a teenager, and it was thanks to the writing community of Iowa City that she was inspired to write her own music during her UI years. Her sound and songs flow across many genres and are inspired by modern artists such as Alabama Shakes, Sharon Van Etten, Angel Olsen, Julien Baker, Esme Patterson, and Lake Street Dive and older influences such as Stevie Nicks, Joni Mitchell and Bonnie Raitt. She's opening for The Weepies, married singer-songwriters Deb Talan and Steve Tannen. They began writing together the night they met and soon formed their folk-pop duo.

Sister wife with Margaret Glaspy and Wye Oak

An indie duo from Rock Island, Ill., Sister Wife has performed coast to coast. With hints of rock, soul, funk, jazz, folk and pop, there's something for almost any musical taste. Margaret Glaspy's latest album frames her ruminations in shards of jagged guitar rock. She'll be followed by indie pop artist Wye Oak.

Julien Baker with Karen Meat and Squirrel Flower

Julien Baker's 2015 solo debut, 'Sprained Ankle,' was recorded by an 18-year-old and her friend in only a few days. It's a bleak yet hopeful, intimate document of staggering experiences and grace, centered around Baker's voice, guitar and honesty.

Built to Spill with Bstar

This indie rock band has made its home on a major label — Warner Bros. — and in the process has redefined that descriptor of independence by operating wholly under its own steam, taking time to craft timeless songs and performing to a growing group of fans.

Jamila Woods with Ancient Posse and Psalm One

Hip-hop artist Jamila Woods' cultural lineage — from her love of Lucille Clifton's poetry to cherished letters from her grandmother to the infectious late 1980s post-punk of The Cure — has structured the progressive, minimalist soul of 'HEAVN,' her debut solo album.

Marion Percussion Festival

Festival doors open at 1:30 p.m., and the event begins with hands-on clinics presented by experts in marching and concert percussion. The festival's evening concert includes performances by the Marion High School Winter Drumline, Solon High School Winter Drumline, and CRASH Trash Can Band. The featured group is Panarchy, Cornell College's elite steel pan ensemble. The grand finale features a student mass drum line. Free foam ear plugs are available for all.
