By Alyssa Detert: When the towers were hit, I was at home with my 3-year-old and my youngest who turned 6 months old that day. I was flipping through channels waitng for an appointment. I remember seeing the towers on the news, and I couldn't help but think of all the people trapped inside. I was horrified. And every year since, my son will remind me he is six months older than he was on his birthday, and all the images run through my head.
