Big, big first quarter for defending champs and a 20-8 lead. Too much size for Lisbon to handle thus far, with Kennedy Drey finishing quarter with 9 points. Luke Lenhart also had 9. Knake with 5 for Lisbon.
Second-Quarter Updates
It appears it'll be a long day for Lisbon, which trails at halftime, 39-19. St. Mary's hit 60 percent of its field goals in first half, using size advantage but also getting out in transition. Kennedy Drey 7 of 12 from field for 15 first-half points. Luke Lenhart 6 of 8 from field for 14.
Lisbon led by sophomore Sean Dougherty and center Jake Hendricks with 6 points each. Dougherty hit a pair of triples. Leading scorer Knake limited to 5 points and 2-of-7 shooting, 1-of-6 from the arc.
Third-Quarter Updates
Lisbon got as close as 17 in the quarter, but St. Mary's stretched its lead to 52-38 as the period closed on a 3-pointer by Luke Lenhart. Lenhart with 21 points, Kennedy Drey with 19. St. Mary's is shooting 61 percent. Hard to beat that.
