Sioux City East's Woodbury to announce college decision Wednesday

Sioux City East senior 7-footer Adam Woodbury will announce where he will play college basketball at a press conference at the school Wednesday night at 7.

Woodbury said his choice is between Iowa and North Carolina.

A four-star recruit, according to Rivals.com, he averaged 18.5 points and 12.4 rebounds last season. He has been long-time AAU teammates with Iowa commitment Mike Gesell of South Sioux City, Neb., and North Carolina commitment Marcus Paige of Linn-Mar.

While Iowa has had an official offer on the table since Woodbury was a sophomore, North Carolina just recently offered him. Head coach Roy Williams visited him in Sioux City on Monday night, according to reports.

Woodbury is scheduled to have an official campus visit with Iowa this weekend.
