We're starting with the quarterfinals and second-round consolation. Right now, Iowa has eight in the quarters, ISU has five and UNI one.
The Hawkeyes lead the team race with 34.5 points. Oklahoma State has 26 in second place and Iowa State is third with 24. Iowa has all 10 wrestlers alive, ISU 9 and Okie State 8 (5 quarterfinalists).

We're starting with Matt McDonough of Iowa vs. jarrod Garnett of Va. Tech. McD with the opening takedown. McDonough leads 4-0 after first and has 2 minutes of RT. McDonough handles garnett, 9-0, and advancing to semis. McD will wrestle Quiroga of Purdue in the semis.
ISU's Andrew Long is taking on Anthony Robles of Arizona State. Robles leads, 2-1, after the first. Long scores a takedown late in the third to win, 5-3. He'll wrestle Indiana's Angel Escobedo in the semis.
At 133, Dan Dennis of Iowa is facing Nick Fanthorpe of ISU. This is a key match in team race. Scoreless first with Fanthorpe going down to start second. Interestingly, all four 133-pound quarters are scoreless after the first period. Fanthorpe with reversal, almost catching Dennis on his back. 2-0 Fan with 40 secs left. Dennis E1. 2-1 Fanthorpe with 35 secs remaining in second.

Jerome Ward of Iowa State lost his first consolation match with an 8-3 loss to Penn State's David Erwin.
Beatty is still wrestling in the consi. Kerr has another round of consolation to go. Beatty beats Lehigh's Joseph Kennedy of Lehigh, 2-1, by getting an escape in the first tiebreaker period and then riding him out in the second.
Christian Brantley of UNI also lost his wrestleback at hwt. UNI went 0-4, but Jarion Beets is till alive and can earn All-American status with a consolation win tonight with a win over the winner of this afternoon's match between Phil Moricone of Edinboro and Josh patterson of Binghampton.
Iowa improves to 25-5 overall with Kerr and Beatty still having one more consolation match in this session.
Team scores after the Hwt. quarters but not including the entire consolation round: 1. Iowa 72, 2. Cornell 50, 3. Iowa State 45.5, 4. Ohio State 44, Oklahoma 43, 6. Oklahoma State 40, 7. Wisconsin 32.5, 8. (tie) Minnesota and Penn State 32, 10. Missouri 28.
Iowa has five in the semifinals, followed by Cornell and Iowa State with 3 apiece and Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Penn State, American and Nebraska have 2 each.
The Hawkeyes have 10 guys alive. Cornell, Iowa State, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Minnesota each have seven total, Missouri, Okie State and Penn state each have six remaining.
Kerr has Bloomsburg's #8 Matt Moley at 157. The winner will wrestle Boise State's #2 Adam Hall, who was knocked off in the quarters by Cal Poly's Chase Pami.
Beatty has either Casperson of Boise State or Wilps of Pitt at 197.
ISU's #4 Jon Reader wrestles #12 Paul Young of Indiana at 165.
