Robin Dale Reed, 63, of Center Point, Iowa, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at her home. The family will host a Celebration of Life later in the Spring of 2024. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Center Point assisted the family.

Robin was born July 6, 1960, in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Dale and Virginia (Kenyon) Stierman. She graduated from Dubuque Hempstead High School. Robin was united in marriage to David Lyle Reed on July 4, 1981. She worked as a cook for most of her life in restaurants, schools, and grocery stores in the Dubuque, Center Point and Cedar Rapids areas.

Robin enjoyed gardening, collecting frogs, dancing, all kinds of music - especially John Mellencamp, photography, and watching movies. She loved watching all of her grandchildren’s activities.

Survivors include her husband, David Reed of Center Point; daughter, Tonya Hinton of Center Point; sons, Zachary (Stephanie) Reed of Center Point, and Kristopher Reed (Brie Rios) of Cedar Rapids; sisters, Sue (Bob) Baumhover of Texas, Marsha Conlon of Dubuque, Kit (Harry) Klotz of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, and Carla (Rick) Heer of Texas; brothers, Bret (Marcia) Stierman, Brian (Veronica) Stierman, and D.J. Stierman, all of Dubuque; stepsisters, Laura Chapman of Dubuque, and Kelly Pearson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; favorite granddaughter, Tatyana Reed of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and grandsons, Travis Hinton, Tré Hinton, and Lucas Reed, all of Center Point.

She was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Reed; father, Dale Stierman; mother, Virginia Stierman; stepmother, Beverly Stierman; brother-in-law, Paul Conlon; son-in-law, Travis Hinton, Sr.; and parents-in-law, Lyle and Dorothy Reed.

Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Mercy.
