Robert J. Pfeiffer, known to his loved ones as Bob, passed away on July 26, 2024, at the age of 65. He was born on October 15, 1958, in Syracuse, NY, and most recently resided in Cedar Rapids, IA.
Bob had a variety of interests and hobbies that brought him joy throughout his life. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and boater, spending many hours in nature pursuing these activities. Additionally, Bob was a devoted sports enthusiast, particularly enjoying football and women's basketball. He also had a keen interest in watching presidential news and debates, finding great fascination in political discourse.
Perhaps nothing brought Bob more happiness than spending time at his cherished cabin, which he considered his favorite place in the world. it was there that he found solace and relaxation during his vacations.
Bob leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion. He was survived by his loving partner Tina Reid, Becky Pickart (David), Melissa Vandersee (Kurt) and Erin Bruner (Steve). His sisters Mary Ann Grenard (Wayne), Cindy Grusolly (Brent), Gina Snyder (Randy), Sandy Bacon (Jerry). Also, Makayla, Khristian, Adrian, Nikkia, Lauren, Emma, Ethan and Wren. He will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, always being there to support and care for them.
In the community, Bob was known for his strong opinions and his love for everything related to Donald Trump. He engaged in spirited debates and discussions, never shying away from expressing his views.
Bob will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all those who were fortunate enough to have known him. His memory will be cherished as a person who embraced life, pursued his passions and showed kindness to those around him. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Leo Pfeiffer and his mother Barbara E. Curley.
Please join us in remembering Bob on August 31st at South Troy Park in Robins, IA from 11:00am to 5:00pm. Please wear Hawkeye shirts to honor Bob!
