Trish Mehaffey Apr. 11, 2016 8:00 am
This week's On the Record talks about National Crime Victims' Rights week, April 10-16, which is observed each year and this year's theme is 'Serving Victims. Building Trust. Restoring Hope.'
The guests do that every day as they work with victims of crime, whether it be helping them through the judicial process or helping them find services they need to heal and restore that hope:
- Shari Konarske, the victim/witness coordinator with the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District
- B.J. Franklin, case manager with the Horizons Survivors Program
- Anastasia Wilson, the victim/witness coordinator with Linn County Attorney's Office
On the Record, a weekly podcast covering crime, courts and other legal topics, is hosted by Trish Mehaffey and produced by Clare Murphy.
