Cedar Ridge Distillery winemaker Kent Folker said the best part of picking grapes is that the community gets to be involved in the winemaking process. “What we are picking today is La Crosse,” Folker said. “They’re actually getting to see and hold and be a part of the process. So, if they buy a bottle or they’re out here having a drink with friends, they can say they had a part in making this wine.” (Elizabeth Wood/The Gazette)
