By Jessica Aiello: On the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, I went to kindergarten. During art class we painted whales. Then I heard my name on the intercom. I was called to the office. I went to the office to find my mom. She was taking me out of school, because the Twin Towers had just been attacked. We have family in New York, so it was important that we called them to see if they were OK. Everyone was OK, but I will never forget painting those whales and getting pulled out of school, because our country was being attacked.
