Nominations are now open for the ninth annual Prometheus Awards, hosted by the Technology Association of Iowa.
Each year, the TAI gives out torches to technology companies of all sizes and industries. Categories include software company of the year, IT service provider of the year, CEO of the year, outstanding startup company of the year and more. New this year is a category for mobile app of the year.
Last year, two Corridor-based companies took home trophies: Involta, of Marion, for service provider of the year, and Farm Manuals Fast, of Iowa City, for student innovation of the year.
Nomination forms are available at the TAI website, through Jan. 27. The awards will be presented April 9 at the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center in Des Moines.
