NCAA Wrestling Time Lapse Video

This is a time lapse video I created during the first three sessions of the 2009 NCAA D1 Wrestling Championships in Saint Louis last weekend. The video was created using a Canon G9 which has a time lapse feature in it's movie mode. I then took several of the time lapse movies and imported them into iMovie to cut them into one video. This time lapse effect can be created using any camera by mounting it in a stationary position and taking a series of photos at a designated interval. After the photos are taken you import them into a program like iMovie to animate them into a video. This process can be tedious and time consuming so having a camera with the feature built in is a big help. Creating the time lapse video was just a fun little project I decided to take on to break up the monotony of shooting three days of wrestling but I was pleasantly surprised with the results. - Brian
