Morningstar to undergo tests today

University of Iowa's Ryan Morningstar was supposed to undergo tests to determine the extent of an injury to his right knee suffered during the final seconds of his 165-pound third-place match against Penn State's Dan Vallimont. Morningstar defaulted and then was helped from matside.
He was seen on crutches, but that was a precautionary method, according to Hawkeyes Coach Tom Brands after the Big Ten Championships on Sunday.
Brands also commented that no one could tell how severe the injury is until imaging tests allow for people to see what is going on inside the knee.
Morningstar placed fourth and earned one of the top-ranked Hawkeyes' 10 automatic NCAA Championships berths.
