Marine Corps Band at two venues during Festival

The 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing Band, based in Cherry Point, N.C. is coming to Cedar Rapids for two very different performances during Freedom Festival.

Both concerts will be free. The American Pride Concert, on Friday, June 25 at 7 p.m. will be at The Concert Hall at College Community High School, and will feature the entire 45-50 member Marine Corps Band playing signature patriotic music, show tunes and familiar medleys, too.

The American Pride Concert will require a Freedom Festival button and a ticket voucher. Tickets are free at the Freedom Festival office. Buttons are $3.

The Oorah Rock! Concert is free and starts at 6 p.m.in downtown Greene Square Park. It will feature 8 – 10 Marines from the same band.
