Monticello
Leland W. "Squirrel" Buol, 76, of Monticello, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday, May 27, at Kramer Funeral Home in Monticello. A funeral service will begin at
10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 27, at the funeral home with burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
Leland was born in Monticello, Iowa, the son of William and Mildred (Aldrich) Buol. He married Pam Wilson on Aug. 17, 2005.
He attended Monticello High School, graduating in 1965. He went on to serve in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1965-1967. After serving, he worked as a machinist in various factories.
Survivors include his wife, Pam; daughters, Julie (Jay) Cadman and Stacy (Curt) Price; stepchildren, Tracy (Rob) Olson, Brenda (Alan) Jacobs and Scott (Melissa) Porter; 12 grandchildren; a sister, Bonnie Hansen; and a brother-in-law, Norvall Clemons.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mary Ann Clemons; and a brother-in-law, Hal Hansen.
