His funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Husband of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Avenue at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 12. Burial will take place at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City.

Lee was born in Masonville, Iowa, on Sept. 2, 1933, to Leo Mersch and Margaret McGraw. On June 14, 1958, Lee was united in marriage to Juanita Bea Mersch at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Lee was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Juanita; his parents; brother, Dem Mersch; sister, Vicki Krause; his grandson, Sean Mersch; son-in-law, Paul Martinez; and many other good souls.
Lee was a Korean War and atomic testing veteran. Dad had a good life, he loved Jesus, dancing, hunting/fishing and his family.
If you would like to do something in his memory, take your wife/mother dancing, talk to a kid about fishing, or visit someone in a physical rehabilitation center. He'd like any of those kindnesses performed in his memory.
