Kernels make a roster move

We barely knew ye, Kevin Ramos.
Ramos joined the Cedar Rapids Kernels last week but never played in a game and was assigned to Rookie-level Orem on Monday, the Kernels and parent Los Angeles Angels announced. He is being replaced on the active roster by catcher Nolan Brannon, who was at Orem.
Brannon is a 2008 non-drafted free agent out of the
University of Tampa. That's the kind of second-half help the Angels seem to send Cedar Rapids every season.
