Kennedy's Harman, West's Winstead top MVC honor squad

Cedar Rapids Kennedy junior Tory Harman was named Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division player of the year and Iowa City West senior Emma Winstead topped the Valley team, the league announced today.
Linn-Mar (Mississippi) and West (Valley) were named coaching staffs of the year.
Kennedy's Allie Hucheson and Prairie's Anna Whetstone were named the top keepers.
Linn-Mar had four first-team picks on the Mississippi team, state champion Kennedy and Washington three each. Seven-time state champion Xaiver and West topped the Valley team with three first-team picks each, Prairie and Jefferson had two apiece.
