Jacqueline Sue Van Dyke, 79 of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at her home surrounded by family. Private family services will be held. Teahen Funeral Home is caring for Jacqueline her family.
Jacqueline is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert J. Van Dyke of Cedar Rapids; son, Dr. Robert A. and his wife, Yolanda Van Dyke of Burke, VA; two grandchildren, Michael Van Dyke of Burke, VA and Heather Van Dyke of St. Louis, MO; brother, Steve Greif of West Branch; nephew, Jim Cruise of Central City; niece, Connie and her husband Gary Swartz of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Lee Van Dyke.
Jacqueline was born on September 11, 1944 daughter of Otto and Lela Mae O’Connell Greif in Dallas Center. She graduated from Jefferson High School. Jacqueline was united in marriage to Robert J. Van Dyke on March 11, 1967 in Cedar Rapids. She worked for the city of Cedar Rapids in the Street Department for 30 years.
Jacqueline enjoyed hot rodding, car shows, reading and loved spending time with her family.
