I'm in Des Moines for the boys state basketball tournament at Wells Fargo Arena. The Solon versus Western Christian 2A quarter final was a stunner! Double overtime! Great basketball from both teams.
Solon's Matt Morrison hit the game winner for the Spartans but...
it was Tucker Wentzien's dunk late in the second overtime that ignited the Spartan faithful.
Solon senior Maggie Randall and daughter of head coach Brad Randall was one of the more vocal Spartan supporters.
