How good is Hawkeye Ricky Stanzi?

I've got my opinions. Keep in mind, I'm not one of the guys who covers Iowa football, so I feel equipped to make an unbiased judgement.
It seems Iowa has won games this season despite the junior quarterback's play. Saturday against Indiana was one of those games.
To me, Stanzi is just another in a long line of recent Hawkeye QBs who is incredibly average/mediocre. Before you go all ga-ga about the long TD passes he had in the fourth quarter against Indiana, keep in mind they were simple throws that turned into long gains mostly because of bad Hoosiers defense.
What Stanzi has done is win games, however, and that's the bottom line. You tell me what you think?
