Harkin: FEMA may not help rebuild Lake Delhi dam

There may be no federal funds available to help the Lake Delhi Recreation Association rebuild its dam that was washed out by recent flooding, Sen. Tom Harkin said this morning.
Harkin said he based that on information he has received from FEMA and the Army Corps of Engineers.
However, Harkin said he will visit the Delaware County lake next week and continue to look for federal assistance.
“Nothing's final until it's final,” he said.
