By Mindy Hatcher: I was at work, and people were crowding around all the TVs to watch. I remember heading to the church after work because we were going to have a service that night, and I wanted to practice a couple of pieces on the organ. I had to find other routes home because of all the lines at the gas stations and then again on the way back to church. I remember a young mother and her son kneeling to pray because she knew her soldier husband would probably be going to war. A lot of people said the service music helped them cope with the enormity of the situation.
