Lynnville-Sully Coach Mike Parkinson Comments: "I have to say I am very proud of our boys, we faced some adversity in this game and overcame it. We battled through some mistakes and turnovers, but never waivered. Coach Smith and HLV came to play tonight and it was a tough first half for both teams offensively because both teams play hard-nosed football. We scored on a late touchdown pass that gave us momentum into the second half. We had a lot of young men step up tonight and no one person was the big star. They all had their part in the win, and that is the great part about our team and this game, it was a team win. We have a tough week in front of us as Montezuma, a local rival, comes to Sully this Friday. We need to continue to make improvements each day for us to continue to be successful."
