Former Kernel Reckling picked for Futures Game

Trevor Reckling, who pitched last season for the Cedar Rapids Kernels, has been selected to participate in the 2009 All-Star Futures Game, which is July 12 in St. Louis.
Reckling already is in Double-A and has a combined 5-4 record and 2.16 earned run average in 14 starts this season split between Double-A Arkansas and high-Class A Rancho Cucamonga.
