Former Hawkeye Horner to lead W.D.M. Valley

The Des Moines Register is reporting that former University of Iowa guard Jeff Horner has been named the new head boys' basketball coach at West Des Moines Valley High School.
Horner had been rumored to be a serious candidate for graduate assistant at Iowa under new coach Fran McCaffery. He has been a volunteer assistant coach at Valley and an assistant at Grand View Unviersity in Des Moines.
Horner, 26, is Iowa's all-time leading 3-point shooter.
