Dunkirk hired as Xavier girls tennis coach

Cedar Rapids Xavier Athletics Director Mike Winker announced that Lindsay Dunkirk will take care as head girls tennis coach for the Saints this season. She replaces former coach Erin Seeley, who officially resigned in January after five years as Xavier's head coach.
Dunkirk played collegiately at Loras in Dubuque after graduating from Xavier in 2005. Dunkirk was a four-time state qualifier in singles for the Saints, reaching the Class 1A finals as a junior in 2004. She also placed sixth as a sophomore and eighth as a freshman.
Dunkirk is an assistant tennis pro at Elmcrest Country Club in Cedar Rapids.
"We are excited about that hire," Winker said.
