Dean Samson Conrad, 79, of Fort Smith, AR passed away June 11, 2024. He was born August 14,1944 in Cedar Rapids, IA to the late Clayton and Lois Conrad.
He proudly owned and operated Clayt's Auto Service for many years.
He was a private pilot and loved taking us kids and friends for short flights. He loved showing horses, fishing, bowling, golfing and riding his Harley, but most of all his family and his dog Zip.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Conrad; parents Clayton Conrad and Lois Conrad; and his two brothers, Dennis Conrad and Dwight Conrad.
Survivors include his children, Kimberly Moyston (Solon, IA), Kevin Conrad (Clermont, FL), Kelly Thomas (Cedar Rapids, IA); grandchildren Nichole Vogt, Jennifer Vanourney, Tyler Giese, Jessica Giese and Nate Moyston; great-grandchildren Austin Schuttloffel, Ashley Schuttloffel, Dahlia Cloven, Jack Cloven and Amelia Giese.
There will be no services as Dean was cremated and reunited with Mom.
