If you're a Chicago Cubs fan, you've got to be ecstatic with the progress mega-prospect Josh Vitters is making this season.
The third baseman, the Cubs' top pick in 2007, has homered in four straight games for the Midwest League's Peoria Chiefs going into Thursday night. He also has five straight three-hit games.
Vitters, 19, has raised his batting average to .360 in 36 games with the splurge. The third-overall pick in '07 has seven home runs and 21 RBIs.
Vitters, who you may remember getting ejected in a game when Peoria was in town recently, hit .214 in four games last season for Peoria. Teammate Josh Harrison is hitting .386.
