Coralville man charged with indecent exposure
A Coralville man was charged with indecent exposure based on allegations he masturbated in front of an uncovered window.
James H. Vonende, 67, of 201 Fifth St., Apt. 1, was charged with the serious misdemeanor after a woman reported seeing him standing by his uncovered window masturbating Monday at 3 p.m.
"When the victim made eye contact with the defendant she stated he did not stop, hide or cover himself when he observed her," police reported.
The charge carries a maximum one year in jail and a fine of $250 to $1,500.
