Cedar Falls boy recovering after accident with curtain cord

Hospital authorities say a Cedar Falls toddler continues to recover, several days after his parents found him wrapped in a curtain cord.
The 22-month-old child, Ben Ricketts, was flown to University of Iowa Hospitals in Clinics in Iowa City after his parents called paramedics Sunday afternoon.
Chief Jeff Olson of the Cedar Falls Police Department says the injury appeared to have been accidental.
His family says Ben was put on a breathing machine and underwent CT scans for brain swelling.
