Cancel culture is everywhere, even on the streets

I can hardly believe what I am seeing on Sixth Street SW. To my chagrin, I have found the street to be redesigned as follows: The outer lane is now a bicycle lane. The next lane in is for vehicles. The third lane for cars has been totally eliminated and has solid yellow lines on both sides, indicating you don't enter that lane. This middle lane is marking for turning. Turning right or left you would have to endanger the vehicles traveling in those lanes. Those who have designed these changes fell into "cancel culture mode " and have turned logic into folly.
I avoid downtown like the plague with the changes that have been made there. I think the new downtown street designs are like giving a 3-year-old a crayon and paper and asking them to draw a route through the city. Have you recently tried to attend an event at the Paramount? If you have you understand what I am saying. God help us if this is a product of evolution and becoming more intelligent. Logic will remain logic.
Good Luck Cedar Rapidians … Drive carefully
