Bradley Plack, 40, of Cedar Rapids passed away on Thursday May 9, 2024, at UnityPoint-St. Luke’s Hospital. A Celebraion of Life will be held at a later date. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Bradley was born in South Dakota, the son of Myron and Diane Plack. He married Alissa Darrow in 2013, in Breckenridge, CO. Brad worked in the tech industry for 22 years, and was a respected friend and colleague to many. Brad’s favorite way to walk into a room was to loudly proclaim, “ I love this family!” He loved to spend time in the mountains of Colorado, playing golf with his boys, and driving to Ames to cheer on his adopted Cyclones. An avid runner, Brad recently ran the Disney and Chicago Marathons. Above all, Brad will be remembered as the best husband and daddy ever.
Survivors include his wife, Alissa Plack, his boys, William “Billy”, Lincoln, and newborn son arriving this summer. Also surviving are his parents, Myron and Diane Plack, his siblings, Angie (Curt) Neises, and Brendon (Lindsay) Plack, his father and mother-in-law, Brian and Jill Darrow, brother-in-law, Ethan (Desiree) Darrow, a sister-in-law, Ashton Darrow and fiancé Jacob Loehr, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bryan Plack.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
