Ames' Barnes named top 2010 recruit in nation

Scout.com has named Ames High School star Harrison Barnes the top prep basketball recruit in the nation in its latest rankings of the Class of 2010. Barnes, a 6-foot-6 forward, is said to be considering Iowa State, Duke, Kansas, Florida, Kentucky, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Stanford, Texas Christian, UCLA and Southern California.

Anyway, the rest of Scout.com's top five are:

2. Tristan Thompson (Henderson, Nev., power forward committed to Texas)

3. Brandon Knight (Fort Lauderdale, Fla., point guard yet to commit)

4. Jared Sullinger (Columbus, Ohio center committed to Ohio State)

5. DeShaun Thomas (Fort Wayne, Ind., power forward committed to Ohio State)

Any thoughts on this? What are the odds Barnes ends up at Iowa State?
