Women’s March organizer, Black Panther designer to appear at Iowa City’s Flyover Fest

A co-founder of the national Women's March and a production designer for 'Black Panther” will appear alongside hip-hop artists, activists, designers and editors as Flyover Fest returns to downtown Iowa City April 27-28.
'This lineup is diverse, it's dynamic and it's full of people that are innovators, leaders and changemakers,” said Flyover Fest co-founder Simeon Talley in a media release.
The festival includes fashion-focused events, artist exhibitions, musical performances, discussions and workshops, with a focus on making fashion and culture more inclusive.
Featured speakers and performers include:
Paola Mendoza - Co-founder and Organizer of the Women's March.
CupcakKe - Hip-Hop Artist.
Corissa Enneking - Plus-size Influencer.
Hannah Beachler - Production designer for Black Panther, Fruitvale Station, Creed, and Moonlight.
Fattitude (film) - A feature-length, full-color documentary that explores fat shaming.
Randall Jenson - Artist / Anti-Violence Advocate / Youth Organizer and Creator of #GetWoke.
Monica Beverly Hillz - Trans activist and reality TV personality.
Moltyn Decadence - Artist and performer.
Machine Dazzle - Artist and Costume Designer to Taylor Mac.
Evette Dionne - Culture Editor at Bitch Magazine.
Jessica Andrews - Digital Fashion Editor at Teen Vogue.
