Salem native Cali Wilson has made it to the Top 13 on 'The Voice,” singing for viewer votes Monday night. Three competitors will be eliminated Tuesday night on the NBC vocal competition.
Now living in Nashville, Wilson is a member of Blake Shelton's team. Her Monday segment began with her interviewing Shelton on how he got his start in Nashville. 'You constantly have to push yourself,” he said.
For her Tribute selection, Wilson sang 'Butterflies” by Kacey Musgraves, dedicating the performance to her girlfriend.
Gwen Stefani gave her a standing ovation, saying: ' Cali, I am such a huge fan of you. Your voice - that is the kind of voice - that is the kind of record I want to listen to. It's so beautiful.”
'Great performance tonight,” Shelton added.
