International pop star Kesha and indie electronic duo Phantogram will headline Des Moines' annual 80/35 music festival, the Des Moines Music Coalition announced Tuesday.
The festival will feature more than fifty acts, including local, regional and national artists. It takes place in downtown Des Moines' Western Gateway Park, July 6 and 7.
Kesha was nominated for two 2018 Grammy Awards, including best pop solo performance for her song 'Praying” and best pop vocal album for her latest release, 'Rainbow.” Her number-one singles include 'Tik Tok” and 'We R Who We R” as a solo artist, and 'Timber” as a featured artist.
Tickets are now on sale at 80-35.com, including two-day general admission passes for $75 and two-day VIP passes for $195. Proceeds from 80/35 benefit the Des Moines Music Coalition's programming, including summer music camps for students and advocacy for Iowa's music community.
