They were united in marriage on June 26, 1971 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Prairieburg, IA.
They have 5 children and 2 grandchildren, Brian (Wendy) Wilken of Albany, MO and their children, Tyler and Kendra, Ross (Erin) Wilken of Chicago, IL, Barry (Amy) Wilken of Nashville, TN, Keely (Brian) Buffo of Chicago, and Spencer Wilken of Bloomington, IL.
The couple and their children plan to celebrate with a family vacation later this summer.
