Weyland

Neil and Beverly Weyland are celebrating 50 years together.

They were married on September 16, 1961 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Ottumwa, IA.

They are the parents of five children, Al (Janice) Weyland of Toddville, IA, Terri (Greg) Henecke, Kathy (Bill) McCauley, Becca (Tracy) English, and Carmen (Todd) Turner, all of Cedar Rapids.

Beverly worked for Cryovac, Von Maur, and later retired from Square D after 32 years. Neil is best known as the founder of Kathy's Homemade Pies, currently known as Kathy's Pies, Inc. and owned by two of his daughters.

Neil worked for many great businesses over the years including McGrath Pontiac, Allen Motor Co., Executive Realty, and Quality Pest Control.

They celebrated with a luncheon at the Longbranch on September 10th.
