Don and Anna Mae Ward of Blairstown will celebrate their 60th anniversary with an Open House on Sunday, November 7th from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Belle Plaine Community Center. Donald and the former Anna Mae Schmidt were united in marriage on November 7, 1950, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Watkins, IA. The open house is hosted by their six children: Don (Wanda), Jim (Maggie), Richard, Marvin, Pat, and Laurie (Tom). They have ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
